If someone you love lives with a mental health condition, you are not alone—and you don’t have to navigate it alone either.
NAMI Southeastern Arizona is offering a new session of our Family-to-Family education program starting Tuesday, July 8, 2025, from 5:30 to 7:30p.m. at the NAMI Resource Center in Sierra Vista. Classes meet weekly on Tuesday evenings through August 26 and are also available via Zoom.
This free, 8-session course is designed for family members, partners, and friends of individuals living with mental health conditions such as depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, schizophrenia, or other mental illnesses. Whether you’re new to navigating mental health concerns or have been on this journey for years, Family-to-Family offers tools and a community of understanding.
What You’ll Learn:
- The signs, symptoms, and treatments of common mental health conditions
- Communication strategies and problem-solving techniques
- How to handle crises and manage stress
- The perspective of individuals living with mental health conditions
- Ways to support your loved one without losing yourself
- Local resources and advocacy opportunities
Led by trained volunteers who have “been there,” the course combines evidence-based education with peer support, self-care practices, and real-world insights.
